# Liquidity Tiers

Uniswap V2 tokens only. Choose how deep the pool is at graduation.

{% hint style="info" %}
**Uniswap V2 tokens only.** This page applies to tokens launched on the bonding curve, which exists to support Uniswap V2. It does not apply to Uniswap V4 tokens: those are [direct launches](/realm-documentation/basics/direct-launch.md), with no bonding curve, no liquidity tier and no graduation.
{% endhint %}

Every bonding-curve token graduates into a Uniswap V2 pool. The **liquidity tier** decides how deep that pool is — and therefore how much ETH the token has to collect on the bonding curve to get there.

The tier is chosen at launch and cannot be changed afterwards.

## The three tiers

| Tier | Graduation threshold | ETH into liquidity | Total liquidity value | Market cap at graduation |
| ---------------------- | -------------------- | ------------------ | --------------------- | ------------------------ |
| **Small**              | 2.0 ETH              | 1.75 ETH           | 3.5 ETH               | 6.125 ETH                |
| **Standard** (default) | 3.75 ETH             | 3.5 ETH            | 7.0 ETH               | 12.25 ETH                |
| **Large**              | 7.25 ETH             | 7.0 ETH            | 14.0 ETH              | 24.5 ETH                 |

The difference between the threshold and the ETH into liquidity is the 0.25 ETH [graduation fee](/realm-documentation/basics/fee-structure.md).

## What stays the same

Only the ETH depth and the price scale change between tiers. Everything else is identical:

* **Total supply** is always 1,000,000,000 tokens
* **285.7M tokens** (28.57% of supply) go into liquidity on every tier
* The curve's shape is the same — the tiers scale 1:2:4 in both pool depth and graduation market cap, so the token split never moves

In other words, a Large token isn't a *different* curve — it's the same curve at 4× the price scale of a Small one.

## Choosing a tier

* **Small** — graduates fastest, at 2 ETH. Good for tokens that want to reach Uniswap quickly with a smaller community, at the cost of a thinner pool that moves more on each trade.
* **Standard** — the original Realm configuration and the default. Balanced for most launches.
* **Large** — needs 7.25 ETH of conviction before graduating, and rewards it with the deepest pool and the highest graduation market cap. Good for launches with a committed audience that want price stability post-graduation.

{% hint style="info" %}
A deeper pool means less slippage per trade after graduation, but a higher bar to reach it. A token that never reaches its threshold never graduates — it simply keeps trading on the curve.
{% endhint %}

## Tiers and the other options

The tier is independent of every other choice. Any tier can be combined with taxes, with [creator vaults](/realm-documentation/basics/creator-vaults.md), and with [launch protections](/realm-documentation/basics/launch-protections.md).
